Who is responsible

Jaque Club (jaqueclub.com and app.jaqueclub.com). For any question or request about your data, write to hola@jaqueclub.com.

What we keep

• Your account: your email, the username you choose, your country and your language.
• Your birth date: only to know whether you are under 18. We never show it to anyone.
• If you sign in with Google: only your email and your Google account’s id. We don’t keep your Google name or photo.
• If you are under 18: the email of the adult who approves your account.
• Your games: the moves, the result, the clock and your rating.
• What you share: the game links you create, with their note, and how many times they were viewed.
• What you tell us: the feedback you send from the app, with the screen you were on and your browser type.
• Technical data: your session (a cookie that keeps you signed in), and each session’s IP address and browser, for security and to stop abusive attempts.

What we use it for

So you can play, find opponents of your age and level, see and share your games, keep minors safe, and improve Jaque Club with your feedback.

We don’t sell your data. We don’t show ads. We don’t share your data with anyone for marketing.

Who sees what

• Other players see your username and, in Rated games, your rating.
• Adults’ games in progress appear in “Live now” and can be watched; Rated games 15 seconds late.
• A game you share by link can be seen by anyone with the link, until you switch it off.

Under 18

• An adult must approve the account before playing with other people.
• Minors have no free chat and can’t buy anything.
• They show as “Junior player”, their rating is not shown and their games can’t be watched live.
• When sending feedback they only pick an option: they don’t write text.

Who we work with

• Cloudflare: hosts the app and the site.
• Neon: keeps the database, in São Paulo, Brazil.
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Each handles data only to provide its service to us.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed for your session. Your language, theme and progress without an account are kept in your own browser.

Your rights

You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete my account. You have 30 days to change your mind; after that we delete your account, your personal data, your links and your feedback. Your games stay for your opponents, without your name.

To ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it, write to hola@jaqueclub.com.

Changes

If this notice changes, we’ll update the date above. If the change is important, we’ll tell you in the app.
